Catherine, known on the app as @CatZ, began her fitness journey after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, a turning point that motivated her to take control of her health.

Through consistent exercise and healthier lifestyle changes, she successfully lowered her A1C back into a healthy range, improved her blood pressure, and built the strength to tackle everyday activities with confidence.

With a balanced routine that includes cardio, strength training, yoga, and outdoor movement, Catherine has transformed fitness into a sustainable part of her daily life.

Supported by her favorite Sunny equipment, the SunnyFit® app, and the encouragement of the SunnyFit® community, she continues to stay motivated while inspiring others to show up for themselves every day.

    Introduction

Hey, y'all. My name is Catherine, and I'm known as CatZ on the SunnyFit® app, and I'm here today to answer some questions.

Question 1: What inspired you to begin your fitness journey?

First question: What inspired you to start your fitness journey? So originally, what inspired me was to lose weight because I got diagnosed as pre-diabetic, and that scared me. But with changing my diet and exercise routine, I've put my A1C back in the green, so that's good. My blood pressure is great. And also, just being able to lift everyday things was a chore. So being able to carry maybe your groceries from your car to the kitchen, or climbing multiple flights of stairs, shoveling snow, or just helping with construction projects around the house, all of these little things have inspired me to stay on course and to continue my journey.

Question 2: What does your current fitness routine look like?

Second question: What's your current fitness routine look like? So currently, I try to do a two-day cardio, three-day strength, and then my other two days are a two-day free-for-all. The two days of cardio are mixed, and they can vary depending on the challenges on the app. So generally, I'm doing walking, running, bike, or row. Three days of strength: I dedicate one day to weighted upper-body exercise, one day to weighted lower-body exercise, and then one day to full-body, bodyweight-only exercise. The two-day free-for-all is generally yoga or stretching, or I'm working on balancing. I do tend to stick more to cardio after yoga or stretching or a balancing workout, and I generally try to get outside.

My two free-for-all days are usually on the weekends because I'm thankful enough to have weekends off, and I work Monday through Friday, so I have more time to dedicate to those days. So I also try to get outside as much as possible because that is really great for your mental well-being.

Question 3: Which Sunny Health & Fitness equipment do you use most, and how does it support your workouts?

Number three: Which SunnyFit® [Sunny Health & Fitness] equipment do you use most, and how does it support your workouts? I would say my treadmill [Premium Folding Auto-Incline Smart Treadmill With Exclusive SunnyFit® App Enhanced Bluetooth Connectivity]. My bike gets a lot of work, but my treadmill is probably something that I couldn't live without, only because when it is bloody cold outside, I'm not going outside to do cardio. But I did recently discover aerobics, so that's actually been so much fun, and I've been really getting into that.

Question 4: What does being part of the SunnyFit® community mean to you, and how has it supported or motivated your journey?

Last question: What does being a part of the SunnyFit® community mean to you, and how has it supported your journey? I really appreciate how the app is free. The workouts are great. The community and Sunny fam are supportive, and the challenges keep me participating daily in continuing this journey and working out.

I tried, you know, Peloton, but you have to not only buy the equipment, you have to buy into the app, into the membership, into the workouts. I tried Echelon, or however you say it—same thing. You have to not only buy the equipment, but you have to buy into the membership. And I really just feel it deters a lot of people because a lot of us on here are just general, everyday kind of people trying to get through this thing called life, and we're raising families and working through injuries, you know, physical therapy, or a lot of us on this app, I've noticed, are retired.

So I really feel the app is the best tool and the best platform, and the workouts, again, are great. They're free. The community is supportive. The challenges keep you present and showing up every day. And of course, the coaches here are full of knowledge. So it's really a tremendous platform for beginners, intermediate, and advanced users, and I really like that.

And being a part of the community has really been a big motivator for me to keep going every day, and I hope that me being here has also been the same for my Sunny fam. But that's all I’ve got for this video. This is the first video I've ever made in my life, so y'all are especially lucky because I don't normally do videos.

    Closing Remarks

But I hope everybody has a great day. I hope something in this video really reaches out to anybody. And as always, peace. Bye, Sunny fam.
