Hey there, I'm Roni Gayer and I'm your Sunny Trainer!
Tell us a little bit about your back story. How did you get started in fitness?
I started taking group fitness classes as a way to bond with my older sisters, who would work out together, and I was immediately hooked. What started as quality time quickly became a huge passion, and fitness eventually turned into such an important part of my life and daily routine.
What inspired you to become a fitness instructor/coach?
Taking classes became the highlight of my day, and I always looked up to instructors as legends. They had the ability to completely shift someone’s mood, confidence, and energy in just one class, and I wanted to become that inspiring figure for others too. I am now thrilled to join the Sunny Fitness fam and bring my passion for fitness and contagious enthusiasm to this innovative and dynamic platform. I also teach Ride x Lift and Run x Lift at Barry's and Pilates, strength, and cardio at STRONG Pilates, where I've earned the nicknames “energizer bunny” and “five-foot firecracker.”
What is your favorite thing about being an instructor/coach?
Seeing clients’ progress and watching them surprise themselves. Even when classes are challenging and humbling, people keep showing up, getting stronger, and building confidence, and getting to be part of that process is incredibly rewarding.
What type of exercises/style of training will users expect from your workout courses?
My workouts are filled with pop culture references, dad jokes, and a lot of energy, while still being both empowering and humbling. With a background in performance and improv, I love creating an environment where people can challenge themselves, laugh a little, and leave feeling stronger than when they walked in. Expect a mix of strength, cardio, endurance, and motivational coaching that keeps you engaged from start to finish.
