Sofee has been involved with local, national, and international fitness brands for the past 20 years. She has worked as a trainer, group instructor, nutrition counselor, business advisor, studio manager, team manager, and model representing the brands and helping to deliver their message by inspiring others to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Some of her earliest notable features include TaeBo infomercials and Johnny G Spinning catalogs. In 2008, she ventured out on her own, operating a successful outdoor boot camp business for 5 years. She gave this up to focus on being a single mom of 2 boys, but it wasn’t long before she discovered how to balance motherhood and work, including coaching stroller and family fitness classes for parents and their children, leading HIIT classes of various sorts, helping to launch Row House in Tustin, managing local studios and navigating the industry through the pandemic.
Although she always appears as the picture of health, Sofee struggled for years with unexplainable health complications and was finally diagnosed with Lupus in 2015. This has only inspired her more to find ways to help adults and children stay healthy through fitness and nutrition.
In addition to on your screen, you can find Sofee coaching group classes at WORK in Irvine and running around South OC with her 2 young boys. Sofee is thrilled to be part of the Sunny team and hopes to motivate this awesome community to continue to stay fit in the new normal world of at-home fitness. Lifting others physically and emotionally is her true passion.
