OVERVIEW:
Functional fitness is training with movements similar to those you might use throughout the day. Often our movements throughout the day are complex, carrying groceries, picking up a box, or bending over to pick up our kids' toys off the ground are all ways we move throughout our day, but going through these movements improperly can lead to injury. We can train to move better, by adding in functional exercises to our regular strength training routine. Follow along with Sunny Trainer Sydney, as she takes you through 4 functional exercises to help you move better all day long!
Workout Details
SET 1
- 10x Deadlift Rows
- 10x Full Body Swing
- Rest 60 seconds repeat 3 times.
SET 2
- 10x Squat Hold with Overhead Raise
- 10x Back Lunge with Overhead Press
- Rest 60 seconds repeat 3 times.
