WARMUP
Begin warming up by pedaling and focusing on upper body position. Remember to maintain proper technique, breathe, and take "quarter turns" to the right (up the hill) and left (down the hill). Use levels 1-10 for resistance, with 1 being flat and 10 being a steep incline.
Add resistance with a quarter turn to the right.
Add more resistance with another quarter turn to the right.
WORKOUTThe 1st Climb:
Increase your pace and turn the dial to the right.
Take a quarter turn to the right to intensify the climb. If you're up for more challenge, take another quarter turn to the right. Embrace the size of your mountain!
Continue climbing with a quarter turn to the right. Imagine riding up a peak. This is the first climb. Let's recover to reach the very top.
Decrease resistance and allow yourself to recover.
The BIG Climb:
Add resistance with a quarter turn to the right. Maintain your revolutions and speed up your feet. If your mountain is as huge as mine, take another quarter turn to the right.
Keep the intensity up with a quarter turn to the right. Don't lose speed on your feet.
Maintain your cadence with a quarter turn to the right.
Continue climbing with a quarter turn to the right.
Test your limits. We're almost there. Take a quarter turn to the right. You can rise out of the saddle to a jog if needed.
Add more resistance with a quarter turn to the right.
Increase the challenge with another quarter turn to the right.
Add even more resistance with a quarter turn to the right.
Push yourself higher with resistance. Rise out of the saddle!
Add resistance with a quarter turn to the right.
Increase the challenge with another quarter turn to the right.
Add even more resistance with a quarter turn to the right.
Congratulations! We have reached the peak. Take a quarter turn to the LEFT! Celebrate your achievement and keep your feet moving as you return to the saddle.
